New Yorkers will remember in Rego Park and Manhattan from the 1950s through the early 1970s  a unique and now legendary luncheonette dining experience called the Hamburger Train.
This site is in honor of my father, and one of the owners of this family business, Stephen Robert Lewis, and grandma and grandpa (Jack and Frances Lewis) who started the whole thing.
So order up, sit back and wait for the train to bring around your order of NYC dining nostalgia.
